I gotta admit... this is a pretty funny stunt to pull off. Of course, this is completely a computer generated fake... but that didn't stop people from freaking out about it all over sports radio today.
I don't understand why anyone thought that was real. This video only exists on YouTube... no one anywhere in the city saw anything on the Pru last night... including cameras and announcers during the game... which get a clear view of the Pru.
But it still got people buzzing.
So the challenge, folks, is out there. Who can CGI some crazy Red Sox shit on New York landmarks? A Sox jersey on the Statue of Liberty? A double-socks logo on the grass in central park?
The gauntlet has been thrown down Sox fans. Who dares rise to the challenge?
