Last time

The Sox salvaged the final game of a 3-game series in Baltimore in mid-August. Mark Reynolds killed the Sox, going 5-for-11 with a pair of home runs. It took Clay Buchholz to stop the bleeding, but the long-term damage was done. The Sox finished the series 3 games under .500 and would be that close to that mark only one more time in 2012.

Laser Show: Jacoby Ellsbury

With every passing series, Jacoby Ellsbury looks more comfortable at the plate. He had a great approach against the Rays, and look for him to carry it over against the Orioles. .

Pitch Around: Mark Reynolds

Mark Reynolds is one of those all-or-nothing type players, except against the Red Sox this season. He is only batting .228 with 145 strikeouts, but against Boston, Reynolds is batting a cool .433. To add to the great average, Reynolds has 5 homers and 14 RBI, and 2 homers and 7 RBI at Fenway.

Don't Fall Behind: Miguel Gonzalez

Simply because we don;t know who else is pitching in the series. Gonzalez is a good pitcher and the Red Sox will likely make him look better than he actually is.

How we see it goin' down

We all want the Red Sox to at least play spoiler. With the way the Orioles have been playing of late, we probably won't see that. Baltimore will embarrass the Sox again, and sweep the series.
